The Message Co-op

On August 16th we are starting a series called Your Secret Life.

The goal of the series is to have some honest conversations about the things we struggle with.

That means being honest with our struggles, but not allowing ourselves to despair.

What we need to decide is:

What are the critical areas of struggle in people's lives.
What does the anatomy of each of these struggles look like.

what are scriptures that deal directly with overcoming a struggle like that.
Are there narritive portions of scripture where the Characters struggled with or overcame said struggles.

And finally any thoughts on how you would approach a message on that secret struggle.
etc, etc, etc.

Remember the individual messages have not been picked or decided or written yet. So i need your input.

A growing number of churches are forming message prep teams to collaborate on sermon series and individual messages.

The goal is to stimulate creative thinking and utilize collective study and scholarship in order to build better sermons and services as a whole

On this site we will post topics or titles for our summer series with the hope that many others will contribute by posting comments etc.

absolutely any content that you think might contribute to a great message on that subject, up to and including outlines.
